LOVE: Dakota Fanning’s Stripper Shoes
I was never really a “shoe girl.” I mean… I always wore shoes. I wasn’t walking into public restrooms barefoot like Britney Spears circa 2008. I simply wasn’t interested in them to the extent that say, Miss Carrie Bradshaw was:

“I’m not home, but my shoes are. Leave them a message.”
Now, is it just me or is it a little creepy to ask people to leave voice messages for your shoes?

However, I admit that for the past three-ish years, shoes have really been stepping up their game & stealing my attention. They’ve transformed from an afterthought (something chosen to match an outfit) into statement pieces that one might instead, actually formulate an outfit around.

So, as I mentioned above, shoes are stealing the show. They are becoming bolder and more dramatic with every season. Thus, it was inevitable that the stripper shoe come into fashion. Ok so maybe not inevitable, but they are attention grabbing so it’s not totally surprising.

What does surprise me is when Dakota Fanning wears them.
