LOVE: Modern Day Edie Sedgwick- Becka Diamond
Coolest moment this week would have to be seeing Becka Diamond on a fashion shoot. At first I didn’t recognize her because her normally stick straight platinum blonde hair was, well… I’ll just say very different.
.
.
.
This was me (on the inside, of course) when I realized who she was:
.
She’s fairly new to the fashion scene, so I wouldn’t be surprised if not everybody knows who she is. The only reason I do, is because I’m an insane person who stalks the crap out of everyone on Street Peeper

So, in a nut shell, Becka Diamond is an aspiring actress from Boston. She was dubbed fashion’s new It Girl this September when she made the rounds at New York Fashion Week’s hottest shows & parties. Her best friend is model Dree Hemingway, with whom she is often photographed.
.
^Her fridge… apparently she only eats Chanel nail polish
.
She is gorgeous in person & super charismatic.
Pretty sure there will be a lot of buzz about her come fashion week.

Three more days!

This past summer I visited a friend who lives in Memphis. We saw Blondie perform on Mud Island & it was fab.
.
The only thing we both found a little strange was what Debbie Harry was wearing. She had on some sort of weird, unflattering mumu. (Madame Butterfly, is that you?) She changed out of it later… thankfully. Take a look at Debbie Harry’s style of the past:
.
.
.
^Looks like the Alpinestars shirt dress Blake Lively wore to Letterman
.
.
^Kristen Stewart would be proud
.
^Knee pads. Amazing.
.
.
.
Last week I went to the Brooklyn Museum with a friend to see the “Who Shot Rock & Roll” photography exhibit. Of course there were pictures of Debbie Harry, so here’s my picture of a picture of Debbie:

NEXT: Gossip Girl Beanie
Michael C. Hall won a Golden Globe for best actor in a drama series for Dexter this weekend. “It’s nice to have a justifiable excuse for accessorizing,” he said of the hat he wore to the ceremony.
.
What was that excuse? Cancer. Who screwed up? The New York Times. How? They made fun of his hat via tweet (not knowing he had cancer).
.
.
.
But do not fret, Michael C. Hall. For, the beanie, skull cap, hat, whatever you want to call it, is coming back into style.
You see, Señor Hall is way ahead of everyone. Take a look at these photos from the set of Gossip Girl. Taylor, Blake & Chace are all going to be wearing caps in future episodes that have not yet aired & were taped just this month.
.
^Hah looks like Taylor Momsen is doing The Charleston
.
^Blake Lively
.
^Chace Crawford. Werk it girl.
.
And this one is clearly from a few years ago, but worth including:
^Heath Ledger
.
So, I guess in conclusion NYT’s The Moment can [insert foul language].

LOVE: Brooklyn Oxfords
.
Oxfords from Eric Shoes on Seventh (Heaven)
Ooooooooooh seventh heaven. I actually hated that show but I couldn’t resist.
Anyways, today a friend and I walked down 7th Avenue, Brooklyn for no particular reason. It was freezing and we were beginning to think that taking a leisurely stroll through Siberia was a stupid idea when we spotted a little shoe store by 2nd Street.
.
.
I loved every single shoe at Eric on Seventh (thanks for making me feel like a shoe ho). They’ve got Fryes, Fiorentini + Baker, Les Trois Garcons ballet flats, Timberlands & loads more. Now, I feel I should tell you the Timberlands they carry aren’t the nasty Wheat Nubuck “classics” with the dark collar a lot of rappers & construction workers like to wear. They look more like this:
.
.
.
P.S. The guy working there was actually helpful. Blasphemous, right? Very quick, & gave his honest opinion when asked. Best of all, I’m pretty sure I heard him tell a customer “you look hot as shit.”
