Honestly, I’m not even going to pretend I know squat about Sunday’s super bowl, or football in general. All I know is the fashion industry has a surprisingly large number of football fans as evidenced by some SS10 collections.

Let’s start of with the easy stuff. Alexander Wang & Alexander Herchcovitch both showed football shaped clutches in their SS10 collections:

I love the “Brady” clutch. I was holding it the other day, trying to decide if it’s the kind of thing one could actually use in everyday life, or if Wang made it just for kicks (no pun intended). It’s pretty fantastic in that it’s not as gimmicky as a football clutch could have been. I’d definitely wear it!

The rest of the Herchcovitch & Wang collections are pretty straight forward. They both have the big shoulder pads going on & most of the Alexander Wang pieces look particularly sporty…
